How to prepare kids for your next photo session?

«Natasha, our last session was a disaster!» Maybe you will be surprised but time to time when I am having session with new clients, I hear this quite often. Believe me, it is not a photographer fault.It is definitely not your fault for a very simple reason that probably you did not know how to prepare your kids for a photo session.

If you are planning to have a family session first time, check some awesome suggestions here:

1.Talk to your kids before the photo session. Explain a little bit more what are you going to do an how much fun will you have together.

2.Make sure kids are comfortable in what they wearing. Also, please make sure that they wearing clothes according to weather conditions.

3.During the session make kids to be kids! Yes, dear parents, please leave at home your serious attitude. Allow them to do things they are enjoying the most.

4.Don't forget that kids pick up a lot from you, your mood during the session can be the point key to the final result.

5.Bribes! oh yes, it works quite good with naughty ones. Sometimes it is essential.

6.Last but not the least. Choose «proper» photographer for your family session! Your photographer should be on the same wave with you. How can you understand if this photographer is good for you or not? Well, here I suggest to trust only your intuition.
