Rainy Engagement Session in Castle Combe | A Cotswolds Love Story

It was pouring all the way from London.
The kind of rain that makes you question everything — why you’re going, what you’re going to shoot, and if anything will even work. By the time we arrived in Castle Combe, nothing had changed. Grey skies, heavy rain, wind. And then — a small window.
Just enough to step out, walk through the village, and catch a few quiet moments before everything closed again.
The rest of the day unfolded in between storms — hiding in a small pub by the fireplace, waiting, watching the weather shift, and stepping out whenever we could. Some of the most unexpected frames came at the very end — in a place that would normally be ignored completely.
And somehow, that’s exactly what made this session feel real.
